Located in the historic Nelscott neighborhood of Lincoln City
Our most popular question is "How close is the beach?" There's a view through the rooftops of the Pacific's horizon from the cabins, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to reach the beach. There are three access points in walking distance, and two of the beach access points have parking, benches/tables and ramps.
Olivia Beach is a community-oriented New Urbanist development.
The park includes a sand volleyball court, a playground, large open space, and campfire area with towering evergreens. A boardwalk staircase leads you up to a cliff-side view of the Pacific, and a newly built staircase takes you down to the tide-pools and sandy beach. If you prefer to skip the stairs, a public access beach with a ramp is located just a few minute drive to the south.
Lincoln City has plenty of entertainment and attractions.
Devil's Lake State Park has inexpensive seasonal sea kayaking with local guides. During the winter months visitors are lured to the beach to find glass floats. Other month's attract families for kite contests and sand castle building. There's always shopping available at the outlet mall, and several local shops in walking distance to the cabins.
Newport is just a 37 miles away, with the Rogue Brewery, the hip Nye Beach shopping district, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium for curious kids of all ages. One of our favorite family hikes is Drift Creek Falls, with a beautiful suspension bridge.
